Kneeling Knight ‘Taking the Cross’ added to all pledges over £40 for FREE

When the project total reached £10,000 we agreed to add the Kneeling Knight to every pledge of £40 and over as a thank you for your support! Apologies I have been a bit slow with this update but it has been all very overwhelming. :)
With the promise of forgiveness for all sins, many Europeans would sew a red cross onto their tunics and venture to the Holy Land on crusade. This act is known as 'Taking the Cross'.

This is just incredible and totally mind-blowing thank you, everyone, who so far has pledged. We funded in 8 minutes which is 29 minutes faster than last time and we are at £12,500 in the first 40 minutes, we have stretch goals incoming.
Prince Louis is currently silhouetted as he hasn't been finished yet, but we felt he needed to be added early on to this project as he is such a key figure.
Aymeric de Saint Maur was the Master of the Knights Templar and one of the most powerful men in Britain. He worked with Archbishop Stephen Langton to produce the original draft of the Magna Carta and was a witness in Runnymede when it was sealed in 1215.
